My very first music edition was a gift from my parents for my confirmation: Bach’s Orgelbüchlein in the blue Bärenreiter Urtext edition. I still play from this volume.

Ever since then, the Bärenreiter editions have accompanied me not only through all of Bach’s works, but also through numerous opera scores. For me the high editorial standard and the excellent, meticulous Critical Commentaries are indispensable study as well as inspiration material.
