Bärenreiter editions have accompanied me for a quarter of a century! Studying the scores of Mozart, Bach or Schubert in Bärenreiter’s clearly, meticulously printed editions and consequently using them as a basis for performance is a great source of inspiration. I feel as close as possible to the great composers when I have these editions before me.

We need confidence in the editions when we play classical composers, and I sense this trust when I open a Bärenreiter score.
