It is impossible for me to name my first encounter with Bärenreiter editions precisely because they have always been an important part of my love of music.

Already during my childhood, as a violoncello student, as a choral singer and ensemble member, Bärenreiter editions were omnipresent. Later, and this is perhaps the most important connection, I came across the “New Mozart Edition” at the Mozarteum Salzburg. It accompanies me on all my Mozart opera projects.

The new Schubert Lieder Edition is also taking an increasingly important place in my work!

I am very much looking forward to many more wonderful moments with Bärenreiter editions.
