I conducted Kabeláč’s Symphony No. 4 for the first time at the Salzburg Festival, at that time still from the old edition. For my Prague Spring Festival debut, we prepared the new material together. I am very grateful for that and have conducted this great piece several times since.

I admire the incredible graphic clarity of the Bärenreiter scores, so learning almost goes by itself!
