It is a special feeling to open a Bärenreiter score for the first time! These editions are the epitome of musical integrity and the degree of faithfulness to the composer’s intentions shines through in every score. As a performer I feel I can place my trust in Bärenreiter due to their respect for the music and I always greatly appreciate the transparency of their thought processes when faced with difficult editorial decisions. The way the scores are presented is elegant, accessible and informative which greatly helps the performer to find as direct a path as possible from the notes on the page to the ears of the audience! 

The violin and the score are constant companions to me on tour, the Bärenreiter editions never far from reach. I’m delighted to be an ambassador in their jubilee year.
